About the Event
HANC is presenting a draft work seminar for Newfoundland and All-Breed dogs Sunday March 3rd in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. The seminar will be held indoors and is open to all breeds and handlers; beginner thru advanced level. This event will cover beginner’s exercises, harnessing, draft carts, hands-on training experience, maneuvering course exercises, advanced draft skills, and more.
The seminar is $40 (or $20 to audit) with a limit of 10 participants. The course will include both a Beginners Draft Training Guide and a Draft Dog Test Guide. Dogs must be owned by the handler attending the seminar.
Payment to be made via check or Venmo. Proceeds will go to support the HANC NCA Draft Test being held April 13th-14th at Kemper Outdoor Education Center in Blue Springs, Missouri.
