Welcome to the Heart of America Newfoundland Club, also known as HANC.
We are a gathering of people Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma (and a few other states)
who live with and-or love Newfoundland Dogs.
Within this website, we offer information pertaining to our Club and many activities we pursue with our dogs.
This year, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary.
Please visit out new page, Happy Tails, where you can find stories of Newfoundlands who have found "forever" homes through HANC Rescue.
If you have any questions about Newfoundlands, please e-mail "Ask HANC."
Attention HANC members: February 18th is a busy day for HANC with two events in two different cities.
The morning will start with the HANR public education booth at the Taylor Made Rescue Rally at the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha, NE, followed by lunch at Wheatfields in Omaha.
The evening will conclude with the HANC 1st Quarter General Membership meeting in Overland Park, Kansas.
See our flyer for more details about each event and other dog events taking place in Kansas City that day.
