Meet Maddie

Hi Everyone - Maddie is doing great. Maddie came to live with us the 1st of March.  We went to Omaha and met the foster parents and met Maddie.  The minute we saw her we knew she was the addition we wanted in our family.  On the trip home Maddie slept most of the way.   

 

Maddie has adjusted very well and enjoys her walks in the morning and evening. If our schedules work right she gets to walk us a third time. When we are out walking she enjoys meeting everyone in the neighborhood and everyone we meet have all kinds of questions about her.  Spooky (our female house cat) and Maddie are best of friends.  Rocky (our inside/outside cat) and Maddie tolerate each other.  The first weekend here we had her groomed, bathed and checked by  the vet. She is  scheduled for another bath the weekend before Easter as we are having company and we want her to smell and look pretty.

We have found out Maddie enjoys car rides.  If there is a car door open she is the first one in.

 

Thanks again for all your help. If we had more room in our house we would adopt another Newf so Maddie would have a playmate.
