If you like to play with your dog and interact with other "dog people",you will LOVE this event!

Jackson County Parks & Recreation, in conjunction with area shelters, businesses, and organizations, presents a day of games and trail walking for dogs and their people. There are also booths.... and that's where we come in.

Each year, HANC mans a booth about Newfoundland Dogs to help educate the public about the joys and (yes) pit-falls of adding a Newf to your family. We have won several awards for our booth over the years.

We also give demonstrations of our dogs doing Draft Work and Water Rescue (weather permitting).

It's a whole lot of fun - you should join us!
